This team hasn't developed a killer instinct yet. Ty is young. It reminds me of the early Reggie years. He was content to be an small-market espn star. One day (hopefully soon) Ty will wake up (as Reggie did) and realize that the only true career satisfaction will come from a serious attempt to win it all.
I think Rick is nudging him that way. Still, I feel like we need a Byron Scott-type guy to mentor him. Siakam won a title, but that was thanks to a flukey rental of Kawhi.
Are there any multi-ring veterans out there who will be affordable FAs this offseason?
