I don't think firing Williams means that Ayton is staying. Based on reporting, Suns are done with Ayton. They're looking to trade him and Chris Paul. Ayton is more talented than Turner. Based on the Pacers actions, they value Ayton more than Turner. Personally, I don't think Indiana will pursue Ayton, but if the Suns offer him for Turner I don't think the Pacers hang up the phone.
Curious to see if Phoenix's exit from the playoffs re-ignites the Pacers interest in Ayton.
