True, although Miami had some smaller lineups. That versatility is quite valuable, just don't think a steady diet of guarding big forwards is the move.
I'm fine with this pickup. Frankly, would love to see Anunoby as well. as it seems we are setting up for small ball. Call it provincial but I'd rather have a lock-down team than one that can fill the buckets. Only way we'll ever get a title.
Yeah, I'm rooting for OG as well. Would help with the defensive juggernaut idea. Toronto is in such a weird place though, having replaced Fred Van Vleet with Dennis Schröder and resigning Poetl. Are they re-tooling then? Raptors outscored opponents by 9.1 points per 100 possessions with Jakob Poeltl on the court, but I can't imagine them thinking that would be enough to compete. Right?
I can’t believe the contracts being handed out these days. I keep seeing “X team signs so and so to a 4 year 70 million contract” and I’m like “who?”. I look them up and they average 9 points and 3 rebounds a game at 25 mins per game with completely average shooting percentages.
Brown is a good player but seems like a good 6-7th option on a contender, but with us we’re paying him like he’s our 3-4th option. I’m just not sure he’s that guy. Hope I’m wrong.
i dont See Brown necessarily as a designated guard to be honest. i remember him playing Lots of pf and even c in the paßt.

He'll be the 3 on this team with Nwora and Brown.

260 millions for 5 years it's a very impressive number for Haliburton. I know it's unavoidable but it's still something new for me.
It could be 260m if he gets All-NBA. So likely not going to be that high.
This trio thing, we can't do that. We don't have the money. Am I wrong? Build a defensive juggernaut, see how it goes..
