That Celtic v Heat game last night... wow, super embarrassing for the Celtics. Assuming they get swept, I wonder what Boston will do this offseason and if they move on from Brown or some other big move. Wonder if the Pacers would want to be involved.
I think 7th pick is very good for the Pacers, because it is psychologically easier to trade it away than lets say 3-4 pick and for some team the 7th pick could be all they need. I think Pacers can get a good established player for it and they should do that.
Pacers are in a good position. No. 7 is a good spot. They can get a good player there. Interesting team is Portland. They should trade Dame and rebuild, but it seems they actually want to trade the No. 3 pick.
Where’s the beef Tom? Do you think the Pacers have any of these players in our future? Adam Sanoga, Oscar tshiebwe, TJD, Drew Timme all are stout rebounders that can bang away underneath. There is 45 rebounds a game between those 4. Is there a place in today’s NBA players like these? None of them can shoot a three between them but they were all 17+ a game guys. Which of these four has the best chance in the league?
It certainly creates a challenge when those bigs are more one dimensional. Makes it real easy to guard a guy like Turner with a forward on the perimeter while still keeping a center around the rim. Those guys may be in the mix if the Pacers keep a second, but likely role player impact. Really need a more dynamic big who can guard and rebound with some offensive potential. Timme will be interesting since he's so crafty offensively, but defensively I can't see him holding up well.
