2. I'm sure part of his subconscious is the time--years, I think--he spent waiting for the Pacers to trade him. It's a business and the older he gets the more he understands that, but if I were 25 and my team were actively shopping me, and fans and journalists were detailing all the reasons I wasn't good enough, I'd have some residual resentment, even if on the surface I'd reconciled myself to what pro sports are like.
3. Of course, if wanted to go full heel, he'd say, "I don't owe you people an explanation," and make Bobby Portis his new best friend.
Your last comment would certainly be fun to see, WWE style.
But Portis is fake-tough (like most bullies, if someone stands up to him he backs down. Portis is not going to ever challenge Nembhard again!) and Myles as we know is soft… Will be interesting to see if they mesh or if Giannis runs out of patience when he sees neither of them are actually “tough.”
