One has to feel really, really good about the moves Indiana has made so far: Drafting Walker; signing Bruce Brown; extending Halliburton; trading for Obi Toppin. That’s excellent. All these moves address weaknesses and set the franchise up well for the future. They aren’t a contender, but they are something worth keeping an eye on.
Are you asking me if having all these players is a problem? If so, I don’t think it is. Hield is gone this season; likely traded. No one should care what Indy does with Nwora or Jackson. Jalen Smith is now the backup center. The Toppin and Jackson moves show us that the experiment with Jalen at the 4 is over. Nesmith, McConnell, Nembhard, and Smith are likely the key reserves. Everyone else is riding the bench, including Shepard. That said, it is possible (likely) more trades will happen. Likely, Hield and Theis are traded before training camp, but we shall see.
Obi Toppin for 2 2nd round picks... Pritchard you are a genius.

Haliburton, Mathurin, Hield, Toppin, Turner
Nembhard, Brown, Nwora/Nesmith, Walker, Smith/Jackson ?

Meant to include Walker as key reserve too.
