A truly frustrating effort overall for the Pacers had them chasing the Bucks all night in Game 1. Now need to quickly apply lessons learned from the 'embarrassing' start.
I don’t think the team as a whole has dropped back. The focus on defense and incorporating Siakam changed how they play and Haliburton finished the season strong and proclaimed himself healthy. Overall, they have improved ceiling but relying on so many inexperienced key players showed up in Game 1.
I've been busy the last month or so of the season and saw very little of the Pacers. In what little I"ve seen Haliburton isn't even close to the same player he was through most of the season. Has he been battling injuries? I've seen some mention that other teams are going at him, making him work on defense a lot more. ????

Has the whole team dropped back a step?
