An important detail in this story is that Mike Dunleavy’s brother is TJD’s agent. I did not realize that until watching Golden State’s press conference Friday.
Quite literally generations of IU fans have complained about the Pacers not drafting their mediocre NBA prospects. Jackson-Davis has several issues fitting into the NBA, but if there is a place where he could develop into a good role player, it’s the Warriors. I’m happy he landed there. TJD would not have played in Indy. They have enough developmental big men that are simply more talented than TJD.
I hate the pussy footing around the pacers and you are doing here. Zack Edey is 8" taller (at least) and quicker in some tests. JD is a power player that isn't that big. Can only go left.
He sure looked annoyed to me when the Pacers didn't take him.
Only iu fans expected him to go high.
GS should be a good opportunity for him to get pt.

I could absolutely see TJD developing into a Looney-type player, and what better place than GS to have that opportunity.
