NBA at 75: How Stephen Jackson changed our minds about Stephen Jackson

+

In the mid-2000s, before the NBA was the neo-liberal corporate ally it is today, Stephen Jackson was public enemy number one. It’s an off juxtaposition, considering Jackson’s work in 2020 as a boots-on-the-ground activist for racial justice and police accountability applied pressure on the NBA to adopt a sudden Spring Awakening on African-American issues it had long ignored, suppressed, and rebuked. During the pandemic, Jackson used his platform as co-creator and co-host of All The Smoke podcast on Showtime to galvanize the country around the assassination of young African Americans and people of color at the hands of police. NFL live streams Reddit may be a thing of the past, but cord-cutters will have more ways to watch the NFL free than ever before in 2021.

April Fool’s Joke At Boston Celtics Shootaround Draws Classic Response From Ime Udoka

+

First-year coach Ime Udoka and Boston Celtics reserve forward Grant Williams had a bit of an argument during a game this week. That prompted the two to stage a fight at a shootaround Friday as an April Fool’s joke. At a press conference before Friday’s game against the Indiana Pacers, Udoka gave a little rundown of how it all went down. He said the fight fooled just about everyone, and then he had a classic response when asked why nobody jumped in to break up the so-called fight. The Odds That The Indiana Pacers Move Up In The 2022 NBA Draft Lottery

+

The Indiana Pacers have not selected a player with a single-digit pick in the NBA Draft since taking forward George McCloud seventh overall in 1989. In the three-plus decades since, the Pacers have found a ton of regular season success, reaching the postseason 25 times and never drafting higher than tenth. The Ringer has found "The Pacers’ Path to NBA Relevance"

Why does the first suggestion in this article not surprise me? And why does it make me so angry?

What is Monta's fate?

1

"INDIANA PACERS – Full Record (20-18) / Since Last Time (10-7) Resolution: Bring Monta Ellis off the bench or trade him. The wheels may already be in motion on this one, with Ellis playing off the bench since returning from injury. However, keeping things that way and making sure everyone is happy is a completely different beast (just ask Knight & the Suns). Ellis’ minutes have taken a dip since the move to the bench and the ego hit to have someone like Glenn Robinson III starting over you would not be easy for anyone. If the Pacers can make this work, then it will be great for their 16/17 playoff aspirations. If they can’t, they need to trade Ellis before he kills his own value."
