Providing a twist on the traditional nuts and bolts of end-of-season content, “The One” is a Pacers podcast series featuring one play, one number, and one over/under for every player on the roster that best summarizes or encapsulates that player’s season.
For the first episode, Mark and I teamed up to react to each other’s picks for Aaron Holiday, Edmond Sumner, and Cassius Stanley. Then, in bonus content, we replaced food corner with a game of “would you rather?”.
To make it easier to follow along and share your thoughts and picks in the comments, here’s the stats, lines, and clips for each player, albeit without context to avoid spoilers.
Aaron Holiday
One Play: Drives without a plan
One Number: 45
One Over/Under: 10
Cassius Stanley
One Play: Fort Wayne Mad Ants versus Agua Caliente Clippers
One Number: 340
One Over/Under: 5.5
Edmond Sumner:
One Play: Detroit Interior Pass
Edmond Sumner had an awesome game last night, probably his best of the season.

The three-point shooting was awesome, but I was most impressed with the reads he was making off drives. Goga misses the shot so it doesn't show up in the box score, but great decisiveness from Ed pic.twitter.com/ojNBeCbVxR
One Number: 55
One Over/Under: 20
Moving forward, the plan is to record these every Tuesday and Friday until we’ve covered the entire 15-man roster, plus Stanley.
Next up: Malcolm Brogdon, Caris LeVert, T.J. McConnell
