The Pacers head to D.C. to face the Wizards in ninth place in the East, 1.5 games ahead of Washington as both teams are trying to secure at least a play-in spot in the playoffs.
This is the first of two games this week between the two teams and the Pacers need at least a split to maintain their current spot, however that scenario gives the tie breaker to the Wiz thanks to their 132-124 win in late March.
Washington has jumped into the playoff record after a strong showing in April. The Wiz are 8-2 in their last ten games riding big production from their dynamic backcourt of Russell Westbrook and Bradley Beal.
The Pacers remain short-handed up front but with Domantas Sabonis back in the mix, they can run out a normal starting lineup. Goga Bitadze remains questionable and his return would be a welcomed site to help the front court rotation.
