The Pacers will try to piece together a playing rotation on Wednesday night when they host the Oklahoma City Thunder at the Fieldhouse.
With Myles Turner and Domantas Sabonis out with injury and backup utility big JaKarr Sampson suspended, Goga Bitadze is the only traditional front court player left standing for the Pacers and he is standing on sprained ankle which makes him questionable to even play. So, yeah, the Pacers will play both short-handed and short-legged (in NBA terms) against OKC.
Ask the Thunder if they care.
OKC has gone into full tank/play the youngsters/look to the future mode thanks to injuries and letting veteran players go via trade or in the case of Al Horford so they don’t impact winning too much. If not winning is the plan, the Thunder are doing well having lost 11 in a row and 14 of their last 15 games.
