The Pacers added Fort Wayne Mad Ants forward, Oshae Brissett to the roster on Thursday evening with a 10-day contract, as Woj reported.

After a quiet trade deadline day for the Pacers ended with the team releasing Jalen Lecque and then later announcing that T.J. Warren would not return this season, the Pacers added an interesting player in Brissett who stood out with his play in the G-League bubble.

Brissett played in 12 games with the Mad Ants and earned All-G-League second team honors after he averaged 18.6 points, 9.8 rebounds and 2.3 assists per game on 43.8 percent shooting from the field. Brissett made a third of his three-point shots but did shoot 6.5 threes per game.

At 6-7 with a 7-foot wingspan, Brissett has the size and length to guard 4s, while still being a dynamic playmaker on the other end.

Brissett signed with Toronto as an undrafted free agent following his sophomore year at Syracuse. He earned a two-way spot with the Raptors and is a guy Nate Bjorkgren had a hand in bring to the Pacers via Fort Wayne.

After digesting the T.J. Warren news, the Pacers head into a strange remainder of the season where they are plenty capable of putting together enough wins to make the playoffs, but will eventually find themselves short on fire power in the post season. Utilizing the remainder of the season to also get players like Brissett, Kelan Martin and Cassius Stanley more reps in spot work to see what potential they have going forward would be beneficial.
