The Pacers wrap up their three-game roadie in Denver on Monday night when they complete the season series with the Nuggets at Ball Arena.
Thanks to a blizzard hammering Denver on Sunday, the Pacers were late getting into town and thus were able to get an extra hour added to the tip-off time. So between time zone changes and daylight saving time over the weekend, the Pacers may not know what time it is when they tip, but they should feel good taking on the Nuggets after a strong effort in Phoenix.
The Nuggets beat the Pacers in Indy before the All-Star break but Denver has depth issues the Pacers could now take advantage of in the rematch. Adding Caris LeVert obviously helps, but the getting a boost from the bench will also be critical. Edmond Sumner and Aaron Holliday combined to change the tone of the game in Phoenix, making a big impact to start the second quarter. Hopefully they can maintain that level of play tonight.
The Nuggets closed out the Pacers in the first meeting with a heavy dose of Jamal Murray taking advantage of his size against TJ McConnell. The Pacers should have more options available to adjust this time around.
