The Pacers are in Milwaukee to take on the Bucks after a short, late-night flight following their win over the Grizzlies on Tuesday night.
Catching Giannis and the Bucks under any circumstances is a rough task, but this game situation is certainly less than ideal for the Pacers. Hopefully, the Pacers were able to pack their hot shooting from their effort on Tuesday when they made more than half of their threes.
But even if the Pacers are rolling offensively, they will need to find a way to slow down the Bucks at the other end where they lead the league in offensive efficiency at an incredible 118.4 rating. The main storyline will be what type of scheme Nate Bjorkgren’s cooks up considering the Pacers don’t have any one preferred player to matchup with Giannis Antetokounmpo and all of the gravity he attracts to help open up other scorers around him.
With history as our guide, watching the Pacers coming off of a feel good win, playing one of the top teams in the league on an ESPN nationally televised game is often a painful exercise. Let’s hope the Pacers make history and flip that script this time around.
