The Pacers wrap up preseason play at Gainbridge Fieldhouse (still getting used to it) on Friday night when they host the Cleveland Cavaliers.
The next time the Pacers take the floor will be for real, so there remains plenty of work for Carlisle’s crew to put in against the Cavs. They will remain without three fifths of the starting lineup with Malcolm Brogdon remaining sidelined with sprained shoulder.
Speaking of Carlisle, he will be keenly aware of the defensive end where the Pacers had too many lapses and let-my-man-go-backdoors on Wednesday against Memphis. Despite the win, the Pacers coach publicly held his team accountable following the win over the Grizz, which was surely addressed again at the teams shootaround practice on Monday morning.
