The Pacers and Hornets finish their two-game series in Charlotte on Friday night as the Pacers look to head back to Indy with a sweep which will also give them a three-game winning streak.
The Blue and Gold have a much different feel compared to their arrival in Charlotte with Domas Sabonis questionable. Fortunately, Sabonis left no questions after posting a triple-double which also helped fuel a 28-point outburst from Doug McDermott while Malcolm Brogdon added a strong 25, 6 and 7 outing. A strong close ended with a 116-106 win for the good guys.
After a day off to rest and recover in Charlotte, the two teams will meet again with adjustments and counters in tow. Both teams will have less depth on the end of the bench with several players headed to Orlando to play in the G-League. For now, that means the Pacers will not have Cassius Stanley, Brian Bowen or Jalen Lecque sitting in reserve.
