Caris LeVert on road back to court after successful surgery

The Pacers announced some good news regarding Caris LeVert’s health status on Wednesday.

The Pacers announced that newly acquired wing, Caris LeVert had successful surgery on Monday to treat renal cell carcinoma of his left kidney.

The procedure to remove the cancers was performed by Dr. Jason Sprunger at Community North Hospital in Indianapolis. Hearing the mass on LeVert’s kidney was indeed cancerous was not good news, but the prognosis was great news: No further treatment is needed!

In addition, LeVert is expected to make a full recovery and now resides on the team’s injury list as out indefinitely. That is definitely some fantastic news for LeVert who had his world turned upside by not only being traded but, in the middle of the process being hit with this health scare.

Fortunately, the trade and ultimately Dr. Sprunger were able to save LeVert’s career, not to mention his life, had the mass on his kidney not been detected when it was.

Prayers up for LeVert and his continued recovery without any setbacks!
