The Pacers are up early on Sunday for a 1 p.m. ET tip against the Toronto Raptors in the first of back-to-back games between the two teams at the Fieldhouse.
The Pacers may be without JaKarr Sampson who is dealing with a non-COVID illness and is questionable. Sampson’s absence could push Goga Bitadze into a small role off the bench. Regardless the Pacers are looking to tighten up the defense as they face Nate Bjorkgren’s former team. There won’t be many surprises on either side so execution will be critical.
The Raptors started the season 1-6 but have won four of their last five games to push their record to 6-9 as they work their way into the muddled middle Eastern Conference standings. Kyle Lowry sat out the Raps last game with a toe injury and is questionable on Sunday with most signs pointing toward the star guard sitting out another game. Former IU star, OG Anuoby continues to play a key role in the starting lineup for the Raps.
