The Pacers return home from a 2-2 road trip a bit bruised and battered but ready to face the Mavericks at the Fieldhouse on Wednesday night.

Both teams could stage a pretty good game if only played with the healthy version of all of the players on their respective injury lists. The Pacers remain without starters T.J. Warren, Caris LeVert and Myles Turner. Jeremy Lamb is expected to be available but it is unknown if he will play. Same goes for JaKarr Sampson. Certainlyl would be a nice time for Lamb to make his season debut, no?

Myles Turner was putting in pregame work but considering his shooting hand is wrapped up and FRACTURED, a missed game is most likely. Considering the mission he’s been on playing this season, I can see him begging to give it a go.

While the Mavericks are healthy at the top of their rotation, they are expected to miss several solid role players in the rotation due to health and safety protocols, so they certainly won’t feel sorry for the short-handed Pacers regardless of the amount of firepower sitting for the home team.

The Mavs are a disappointing 6-7 after losing their last three games. All this despite boasting and offense and defense that are both among the top ten in the league in efficiency. Luka Doncic is the primary problem for the Pacers to solve along with the length they have up front since Kristaps Porzingis has returned. Goga Bitadze should have a chance to impact the game for the Pacers, let’s hope it is in a positive manner.
