The Pacers (44-28) face the Heat (44-28) in Game 2 of their first round playoff series looking to level the series after fading down the stretch to lose in Game 1.

This Pacers team is normally at its best when it is down and counted out (by some) and they will need to be close to their best to beat this Heat team which presents some challenging matchup problems.

To resolve some of those issues the Pacers have to at least be much better than they were in Game 1. Aside from Malcolm Brogdon and T.J. Warren’s scoring there is room for improvement across the board. Play better and they should fare much better.

The Pacers hope to have Victor Oladipo back after he missed most of Game 1 thanks to an inadvertent eye poke by Jae Crowder. As for Crowder, he is dealing with a balky ankle and is questionable. His presence really helps the Heat matchup well against the Pacers defensively, so his availability will be a key factor just like Vic’s.
