The Pacers (31-18) face the Mavericks (30-19) for the first time this season, trying to bounce back after a frustrating loss to the Knicks.
The Pacers started the game against the Knicks with a fully healthy roster for the first time this season and then went on to play like it was the first time they all played together. Worse, yet, the Pacers didn’t finish the game healthy after T.J. Warren suffered a concussion which will keep him out against Dallas.
The Mavs are banged up as well with Luka Doncic (ankle) and Dwight Powell (Achilles) out, diminishing their overall size and skill considerably.
The Pacers continue trying to work Victor Oladipo into the mix, which has been clunky at best through the first two games.
