The NBA tips off their showcase All-Star weekend event on Sunday night when Team LeBron takes on Team Giannis at the UC in Chicago.
The Pacers will be represented by Domantas Sabonis, making his first All-Star appearance off the bench for Team LeBron. Sabonis has made his presence known so far this weekend by placing second in the Skills Challenge on Saturday night.
Vegas, or actually, Indiana has Team LeBron favored by 6.5 points which is easy to see with a starting lineup filled with confounding talent from James Harden through Anthony Davis. Team Giannis starts a more traditional lineup with two guards, two forwards and a center. However, tradition is thrown out the window when Giannis Antetokounmpo is considered one of the forwards since he is anything but traditional on the court.
Should be fun and we’ll see if anyone wants to take a space-clearing shoulder from Sabonis in a game that doesn’t count in the standings. Our old friend, Frank Vogel will be coaching Domas and Team LeBron. Vogel joked about how he came to finally coach Domas in the ASG.
Frank Vogel had jokes.

"I credit (Domantas Sabonis) for me being the Lakers coach, because if we would have not traded he and Victor and kept them in Orlando, I probably would still be coaching the Orlando Magic."
He said that he and Sabonis had a laugh about that this morning.
Oh, and this is pretty sweet, catching Domas as he arrives in the locker room at the UC.
