The Pacers (29-16) roll into the Bay Area to face the Warriors (10-36) in San Francisco in the new Chase Center in the Mission Bay district.
The Warriors had a nice home court advantage in Oakland, but during the first season in their new luxury home, the Dubs are missing talent more than any boost they got from the Oracle Arena crowd. Stephen Curry is trending toward a return, but not tonight. Klay Thompson and Kevon Looney are other key cogs missing that have held the Warriors down this season.
Of course, the Pacers will be without Victor Oladipo (but only for two more games!!!) and Malcolm Brogdon which levels the injury impact. T.J. McConnell has worked well with the starting lineup (sadly he’s had plenty of opportunities due to injuries), so the Pacers should have enough depth in reserve to attack the Warriors early in search of another road win.
The late night tip will add to a festive Friday night. Cheers!
