The Pacers (25-15) play the first of two consecutive games against Timberwolves (15-24) on Wednesday night in Minneapolis.
Sweeping consecutive games is never easy with the ability to make immediate adjustments, similar to a playoff series. The Pacers should have the advantage, though as they start on the road with a healthy roster while Minny is still waiting on Karl-Anthony Towns to return from an extended absence.
Minnesota won a preseason matchup at the Fieldhouse, although the T’Wolves played their starters much more than the Pacers. The highlight of that game was KAT giving some harsh NBA reality lessons to rookie Goga Bitadze, who took it well and kept battling.
Minny’s rotation is a bit different from what we saw in the preseason with local legend and former Pacer, Jeff Teague coming off the bench.
