Indy Cornrows Podcast: Ep. 2 Victor Oladipo says a lot by not talking much

The Pacers rehabbing star made a quick trip to Indy over the weekend, keeping his cards close to the vest regarding his return although with a twinkle in his eye.

A ProCamp event bearing his name brought Pacers star Victor Oladipo to town over the past weekend. Around 500 kids and most of their parents turned the Pacers Athletic Center at Grand Park into a “Vic-stock” weekend with plenty of hoops instruction for the kids while the feathery one floated around filling the building with juice.

On Sunday, Oladipo held a brief media session while also giving some exclusive time to Mark Montieth and J. Michael on Saturday. His comments and the resulting stories are the topic for the Episode 2 aka the Darren Collison Episode of the podcast.

VO definitely left a positive impression about his expectations for the season, but that feeling was based on everything he left unsaid.

Other topics touched on are the No. 2’s that were in consideration for episode honors and the oft-forgotten impact Jamison Brewer had locally.

Plus, Doug McDermott knows how to avoid confusion when addressing all of the TJ’s in the Pacers locker room.

Don’t forget to vote on the Pacers best player to wear uniform number 3. Three players wore the number for multiple seasons, so they make the list. Several players wore the number for multiple seasons so the list is narrowed to five.
