The Indiana Pacers will join the other 29 NBA teams (in addition to the Croation and Chinese National teams) at the MGM Resorts NBA Summer League in Las Vegas in early July. After their long stint in Orlando, the Pacers went West last year to join a more fan inclusive experience in the Entertainment Capital of the World.

Things didn’t go so well for the Pacers last year, finishing with a 1-2 record, losing in the first round to Trae Young and the Atlanta Hawks. This year could be a bit different with Indiana expected bring in first round selection Goga Bitadze and possibly two-way signee Brian Bowen II. Some more familiar names may take place in the league as well, such as Aaron Holiday, Edmond Sumner, and The Legendary Alize Johnson.

While the roster has yet to be finalized, Indiana’s schedule has been set, featuring four “regular season” games at least one “postseason” game. As opposed to recent years in which all 30 teams competed for the Summer League Championship, only the top eight teams will do so this year, resulting in a number of Consolation Games to wrap up each team’s five game schedule.

In addition, all games will be aired through ESPN networks and NBA TV, giving fans numerous opportunities to peak in on the first professional experiences for the league’s top draft picks. For the Pacers, they’ll kick start their Summer League run against Ja Morant and the Memphis Grizzlies on July 6 on NBA TV.

The following Monday, July 8, the Pacers will tip off against the Detroit Pistons, who took Sekou Doumbouya with the 15th overall pick. That game will air on ESPNU. The Pacers will return to NBA on both July 9 and July 11, facing Cam Reddish and the Atlanta Hawks on Tuesday and closing out their regular season stint against the Toronto Raptors.

From there, the Pacers will play on Friday or Saturday, taking place in the Summer League’s consolation slate on those two days, or kicking off Tournament Play on Saturday. Following is the schedule, with times, all Eastern:

  • Saturday, July 6: Pacers vs. Grizzlies, 7:00 PM | NBA TV
  • Monday, July 8: Pacers vs. Pistons, 5:00 PM | ESPNU
  • Tuesday, July 9: Pacers vs. Hawks, 5:30 PM | NBA TV
  • Thursday, July 11: Pacers vs. Raptors, 6:00 PM | NBA TV

July 12 - 13 - Consolation Games | July 13 - 15 - Tournament Play
