The Pacers try to sweep the home-and-home against the Pistons while keeping pace in the Eastern Conference playoff race.

The Pacers will try to snap their 10-game losing streak on the road when they visit Detroit to take on the Pistons.

The Pacers beat the Pistons on Monday in Indy without Darren Collison and Wesley Matthews and they will have to do so, again with both guards listed as ‘out’ for the game. Blake Griffin didn’t play for the Pistons at BLF and remains questionable along with reserve guard Luke Kennard.

The Pacers remain tied in the standings with the Celtics and need to keep pace before the two teams meet on Friday. So the Pacers have plenty of motivation to remain focused on the task at hand without looking ahead since they have burned through all of their margin for error in an effort to capture the four seed in the East.

The Pistons are even more desperate to maintain a spot in the playoffs. While they begin the night in sixth place in the East, they are just a game ahead of 8th place Miami and 1.5 games ahead of ninth place Orlando.
