Nuggets vs. Pacers: Game thread, lineups, TV info and more

The Pacers return home after an 0-4 road trip, looking to get better against the top team in the Western Conference.

NBA: Indiana Pacers at Denver Nuggets Ron Chenoy-USA TODAY Sports

The Pacers return home to the friendly environs of Bankers Life Fieldhouse to take on the Denver Nuggets on Sunday evening.

After sending a rough week plus on the road out west, the Pacers should get a boost from the home crowd, but they will still be without Darren Collison who missed the last two games with a quad contusion.

The Pacers started the 0-fer trip against these same Nuggets, delivering an impressive first half performance before fading in a lethal third quarter that was too much to overcome late, despite the Pacers’ best effort.

Nikola Jokic is the goods for Denver and while he was tossed early, still did enough to impact the Nuggets win over the Pacers last weekend. His 26 points lead the Nuggs’ starting unit, all of whom finished the game in double figures.

Myles Turner had 15 and 5 against the Nuggets in Denver while dealing with Jokic. Hopefully, he’ll have more for the Nuggs this time around while playing on his 23rd birthday (yes, this is year four and he’s only 23).

The Pacers appear ready to play their regular rotation to try to keep pace against the Celtics in the East who play San Antonio later on Sunday. No easy task against the top team in the West, riding a six-game winning streak.
