The Pacers return to action on Monday night in Portland where they will wrap up their season series with the Blazers after absorbing a discouraging loss in Denver on Saturday to begin the their trip.
The Blazers at home have not been gracious host for the Pacers in the recent past which I guess, is not so recent since the last nine games at the Moda Center (or arena name at the time) have ended in a Pacers loss.
To make matters worse, the game will be televised nationally on ESPN which has been an even bigger problem for the Pacers this year. They seem to save the worst of their performances for ESPN or TNT.
The Pacers are healthy, aside from the long-term loss of Victor Oladipo. Portland lost a key cog on Saturday when CJ McCollum went down for at least a week with a left knee injury. Portland showed they have depth in their win at the Fieldhouse back in late November. McCollum scored 17 points in the Blazers 103-93 win, but was one of seven Portland players to score in double figures, as they got a boost with 54 points off the bench.
