The Pacers wrap up a four-game road trip in New Orleans where they will try beat the Pelicans to salvage a 2-2 split on the roadie.
Playing short-handed has been an issue for the Pacers and they will remain without Victor Oladipo (of course) and Doug McDermott (rib). But the Pels looked at the Pacers injury report and said, ‘hold my beer.’
Not only is Anthony Davis out with injury, he is out until traded which has created brutal working conditions for the rest of the team. But worse, key contributors are also out in Julius Randle, Nikola Mirotic, Elfrid Payton and E’Twaun Moore. So it is up to Aaron’s brother Jrue Holiday and old friend, Solo Hill to take it to the Pacers.
The Pacers enter the game in fifth place in the East with five (mostly) challenging home games remaining before the All-Star game. Taking care of business on the road tonight will help the Pacers stay afloat until the break next wee...or at least until the trade deadline on Thursday.
