The Indiana Pacers suffered their second straight loss in frustrating fashion, falling to the Dallas Mavericks to wrap up a disappointing 1-2 road trip. The Pacers and Mavericks went back and forth all night, but Dallas found the winning formula in the fourth by hitting eight threes to Indiana’s two.
All five Dallas starters reached double figures, hitting 14 threes among them, outshooting the Pacers on their own. The Pacers were led by Bojan Bogdanovic with 22 points, who was just 1-4 from deep. Wesley Matthews held up his end of the bargain, scoring 20 points in his return to Dallas, hitting four threes.
The Pacers will have a quick turnaround as they return home to host the Minnesota Timberwolves on the second night of a back-to-back, looking to avoid a costly three game skid.
