The Pacers make their first trip to Detroit this season to take on the Pistons for the second time.
In the first game at BLF, the Pacers throttled the Pistons, 125-88. Sure the Pacers still had Victor Oladipo for that late December matchup, but VO only scored a season-low (at least in games when he played at least 10 minutes) seven points. His All-Star services were not needed as the Pacers lead from the opening tip and then ran away in the second half.
Detroit remains a challenging matchup for the Pacers with Blake Griffin and Andre Drummond causing problems in the front court. The Pacers could use Myles Turner to help deal with the dynamic size of the Pistons. Turner missed the last two games with a sore hip. Detroit has won six of their last seven games which leaves them in seventh place in the Eastern Conference as they try to solidify a spot in the playoffs.
