The Pacers shot their way past the Grizzlies on Monday night, earning a much-needed road win to bounce back from a fiddling away a game in Philly.
The win was the Pacers sixth in their past seven games and included a season-high 38 three-point attempts. All of those looks from behind the arc were a result of a team sharing the wealth and willingly making the extra pass. That team-oriented approach also led to seven players scoring in double figures.
The Pacers handled business as expected, but the short-handed Grizz made them earn it. Nate McMillan won’t be happy about the 54 points in the paint Memphis scored after allowing 62 to the Grizz with Jonas Valanciunas last week. Still, take the dub and move on to OKC.
While there were plenty of offensive highlights on the court, Dan Burke delivered the goods prior to the game when he calmly express his disdain for the Sixers after enduring Joel Embiid’s act and absorbing the tight loss.

No doubt these two physical teams were plenty chippy on Saturday night which is sure to carry over. Dan Burke doesn’t mind that chippiness one bit, in fact he seems to love it. The New Year’s Eve matchup against the Sixers should be fun at the Fieldhouse.
Love it!
