Pacers vs. Hornets: Game thread, lineups, TV info and more

The Pacers try to keep rolling in the right direction when they hit the road to play in Charlotte.

NBA: Charlotte Hornets at Indiana Pacers Brian Spurlock-USA TODAY Sports

The Pacers (3-3) try to jump ahead of the Hornets in the Eastern Conference standings when the two teams meet on Tuesday night for the first time this season. The Pacers remain short-handed without Edmond Sumner (oh, and Vic), but Myles Turner and Domantas Sabonis made the trip, hoping to give it a shot, yet remain questionable to play.

The Hornets are also 3-3 but have had a tougher schedule to date, already completing their first road trip to face Western Conference teams. Although, their three wins over Chicago and then at the Kings and depleted Warriors don’t look any more impressive than the Pacers three dubs to date.

Terry Rozier leads the Hornets in scoring with rookie PJ Washington adding 15 points per game. Local legend Cody Zeller is starting at center, averaging 14 points per game while grabbing 12.4 rebounds, an average that currently ranks fourth best in the league.
