Pacers point guard, Malcolm Brogdon proclaimed himself 100% ready to return to action after missing the team’s last three games with a sore back.
Brogdon said he had to be patient and put in the rehab work but will be a full go when the Pacers host the Grizzlies on Monday night. While Brogdon was close to returning for the game against Orlando on Saturday, he expects no restrictions once he returns to the court.
Nate McMillan is happy to have his full starting lineup (well, sans Vic) back on the court together which will also alter the playing time for guys like Aaron Holiday, T.J. Leaf and Goga Bitadze.
I’d expect AHoliday to remain in the rotation, but obviously he will play fewer minutes after shining on the court while filling in for Brogdon.
Brogdon will have his hands full upon his return with dynamic rookie Ja Morant coming to town to run the Grizzlies. Morant is among the top contenders for NBA Rookie of the Year, leading the Grizzlies with 19 points and 6 assists per game. The Rook is always on the attack and the fun just begins when he gets into the lane with the ball.
