Things are about to get real for the Pacers as they face two of the most challenging teams to defend in the NBA...on consecutive nights.
After winning seven of their last eight games with a crowded injury list, the Pacers opponent strength rises significantly with a Friday game at Houston followed by a home game on Saturday night against the Bucks.
The Pacers remain short-handed with Myles Turner (ankle), Jeremy Lamb (ankle) and Edmond Sumner (hand) out. Goga Bitadze (concussion) is still questionable but Nate McMillan mentioned on Thursday that he expects Goga to be available.
The Pacers will need all the help they can get to try and slow down James Harden who had 47 points on Wednesday night to keep his scoring average over 38 points per game. The Rockets will be missing role players along with center Clint Capella (concussion). But as McMillan also mentioned, the Rockets still have Harden and Russell Westbrook, so...
