The strange schedule to start the season continues for the 1-3 Pacers when they host the Cleveland Cavaliers on Friday night.
After already playing Detoit twice, the Pacers will play Cleveland for the second time in their first five games, looking to avenge a dreadful 110-99 loss in the second game of the season.
To make things even more strange for the Pacers, they are without Myles Turner, so TJ Leaf is going to start in his place. Leaf didn’t play in the Pacers win in Brooklyn, as Justin Holiday slid into the starting lineup after Turner went down. Nate McMillan is looking for a different matchup against the Cavs and Kevin Love in particular.
The Cavs are 2-2 and Love is averaging 16 points and almost 17 rebounds per game.
