The Pacers play the first of three consecutive road games in Cleveland.

NBA: Cleveland Cavaliers at Indiana Pacers Brian Spurlock-USA TODAY Sports

The Pacers begin the road portion of the schedule when they visit the Cleveland Cavaliers on Saturday evening.

After a reality-check home opener sent the Pacers on the road with an 0-1 record, the Pacers will try to bounce back against a Cavs team that is still recovering from the loss of LeBron James two summers ago.

Familiar names, Kevin Love and Tristan Thompson give Cleveland a verteran front court to battle Myles Turner and Domas Sabonis. The Cavs also lost their opener, dropping a 94-85 decision to the Orlando Magic.

Keep an eye on the bench rotation as the Pacers continue hunting for some combinations that will work. Nate McMillan would prefer to play fewer than the 11 players he rolled out on opening night, but he’d also like some of those players, like Aaron Holiday and T.J Leaf to name a couple, to rise up and play like they deserve more minutes.
