The Pacers are back in action at Bankers Life Fieldhouse on Friday night to showcase their 2019-20 team for the first time in front of the home fans when they play their third preseason game against the Chicago Bulls.
The game should serve as ‘Thad Young Appreciation Night’ at BLF with the former Pacers forward now working with another young and talented team in the Bulls. Last season the Pacer swept the four-game regular season series against Chicago, but those first three wins were a struggle and the Bulls have only improved around their young core for this season.
The Pacers themselves are working through some significant changes to the playing rotation, so expect the top half of the playing rotation to get plenty of minutes, at least through the first three quarters.
TJ Leaf is expected to return while remaining questionable with a quad injury. Aaron Holiday is sick and will sit this one out along with rookie Goga Bitadze (ankle).
