The Pacers host the NBA champion Golden State Warriors on Monday night while trying to bounce back after a frustrating road loss in Memphis in their first game after losing Victor Oladipo for the season.
Not ideal circumstances for the home team.
But resiliency has been a trademark of this Pacers team that past couple of year so there is no reason to think they won’t give it their best this time around. Even that resiliency will be tested with Vic’s backup, Tyreke Evans sitting, which will push Edmond Sumner into the playing rotation and possibly the starting lineup.
The Pacers do have a two-game winning streak going against the Dubs, although the injury report played a big part in those wins last season. This time around, the Pacers are feeling the pain of the injury report, but to be sporting the Warriors will rest Draymond Green.
The crowd is always big for the Warriors and tonight they will show their support for Oladipo with a gold out and shirts provided by the Pacers.
Team Vic extends to @TheFieldhouse because tonight’s game is a GOLD OUT! Everyone in attendance tonight will get this #Together4Vic t-shirt. pic.twitter.com/IuyQjfwoBE
