The Summer Pacers take on the Summer Rockets in Las Vegas on Friday to begin Summer League play. The game against the Rockest tips at 3 p.m. ET and will be televised on NBA TV.
Fans will get a chance to see rookies Aaron Holiday and Alize Johnson in blue and gold for the first time. Equally intriguing will be the play of second-year forward, T.J. Leaf who will try to show his growth on the court as the Pacers hold out hope he can be a spread-four option of the bench once the regular season starts.
Alex Poythress, Ben Moore and Edmond Sumner will also try to leave a strong impression so they can avoid those trips to Fort Wayne during the upcoming season. Speaking of the Mad Ants, their coach Steve Gansey will be guiding the Pacers on the bench in Vegas.
