Victor Oladipo named Most Improve Player by DraftKings

New, comments

Results not voting show Oladipo was most improved player for DraftKings.

DraftKings will honor Victor Oladipo on Tuesday as the Most Improved Player for his jump in fantasy basketball impact over the 2017-18 season.

Oladipo posted career high averages in points, rebounds, assists and steals, including leading the league wit 2.4 steals per game. Additionally, Vic had his best three-point shooting season in both volume and percentage of makes. Those improvements will likely earn him the vote for the NBA’s MIP award, but DraftKings relies solely on the numbers to determine their Most Improved Player.

During the 2016-17 season in OKC, Oladipo compiled 1,882 fantasy points. This year, he scored 3100.75 fantasy points – nearly a 65% increase from year to year. So add DraftKings to the list of those recognizing Oladipo for his fantastic first season with the Pacers.

Now Vic just needs to make that production the new norm to improve on. No easy task, but he’s working on doing just that this summer.
