The Pacers play their final back-to-back game of the season when they take on the Raptors in Toronto on Friday night.
After wearing out the Golden State Warriors in impressive fashion on Thursday, the Pacers caught a flight north of the border for what will also be their last regular season road trip. The win over Golden State also locked up the five seed for the Pacers, which allows the Blue and Gold to exhale and focus on the playoffs, if they so choose.
Pending the outcomes of other key games, the Pacers could still finish as high as the three seed in the East, but they need lotsa help. Regardless, I can’t see the Pacers rolling over since they always give an honest effort when on the floor. The Raptors may be looking ahead to the playoffs, as well but they still haven’t clinched the top seed in the East.
In a rare occurrence at this time of the year, both teams have a clean injury report. Toronto has a 2-1 edge in the season series including an impressive closing quarter to beat the Pacers, 106-99 at the Fieldhouse in mid-March.
