The Pacers return home after a 3-1 road trip to face the Golden State Warriors on Thursday night.
No rest for the road weary Pacers, as the defending champs will try to avenge the loss the Pacers threw at them last week in Oakland. Of course, in that game the Warriors were missing Steph Curry, Klay Thompson, Kevin Durant and Draymond Green. The Pacers stumbled early in that game but eventually took care of business.
This time around will be much different since the Warriors are now on the business trip and have Durant, Klay and Draymond ready to roll. In fact, on their way to Indy, the Dubs’ trio looked strong on their stop in Oklahoma City where they beat back the Thunder on Tuesday.
The Pacers appear locked into the five seed unless they can win out and get some help with Cleveland and/or Philly losing which is not a good bet of late. A win or Miami loss will clinch at least the five seed for the Pacers so they do have work remaining.
The Pacers injury report remains clean, while the Warriors will be without Stephen Curry (knee) and Omri Casspi (ankle).
