Clippers vs. Pacers: Game thread, lineups, TV info and more

New, comments

The Pacers and Clippers face each other for the first time this season at BLF on Friday.

The Pacers host the Los Angeles Clippers for their annual visit to the Fieldhouse on Friday night.

The home team will try to bounce back from a frustrating road loss in New Orleans on Wednesday, one of the few games this year when the blue and gold came up empty down the stretch. At the Pacers shootaround, Nate McMillan ruled out Domas Sabonis returning to the lineup as was hoped after he started ramping up activity in practice earlier in the week.

The Clippers remain short-handed without guards Patrick Beverly and Avery Bradley while also losing four of their last five games as their hopes to make the playoffs in the West appear to be slipping away.

This is the first meeting between the Pacers and Clippers this season. The teams will wrap up their two-game series next Sunday at Staples Center.

The Pacers magic number to clinch a playoff spot in the East is now a 2 after the Pistons lost on Thursday night. So any combination of two wins by Pacers/losses by Pistons will put the post-season in play for the Pacers.
