The Pacers beat the Hawks in Indy five days ago thanks to an efficient effort in both the second and third quarters to run away with a 116-93 win. After stumbling on the road in Dallas, the Pacers are two games under .500 with challenging roadies remaining on this trip in Milwaukee and Washington, so nothing can be taken for granted even when playing the worst team in the Eastern Conference.
The Pacers always need more Victor Oladipo and certainly more than they saw in Dallas. The Pacers All-Star scored 21 points in just 23 minutes as foul trouble forced Vic to the bench for long stretches in the first and second half. Shuffling the lineups around Oladipo's foul trouble while still mixing in Glenn Robinson III made for some clunky combos. Working through the adjusted playing rotation (also sans Darren Collison) should be easier if Oladipo plays a normal load of minutes in ATL.
