Knicks vs. Pacers: Game thread, lineups, TV info and more

New, comments

The Pacers look to expand their winning streak and keep pace with the top teams in the East when they host the Knicks.

NBA: Indiana Pacers at New York Knicks Catalina Fragoso-USA TODAY Sports

The Pacers host the Knicks on Sunday evening after beating the Sixers in Philly on Friday for their sixth consecutive win.

The Pacers are better than the Knicks, far more healthy than the Knicks, and far more motivated to win than the Knicks.

Why does this feel like a trap game?

Well, for all the reasons listed above, the Pacers will have to fend off human nature and deliver some professional focus to take care of business against the Knicks, who will add a few healthy players. Don’t forget, Tim Hardaway, Jr. put the Knicks up three with three minutes to go in their last meeting on Halloween before Victor Oladipo, Domas Sabonis and Thad Young delivered a 13-4 close to secure the W at MSG.

Among the Pacers 10 losses, there is only one I’d consider bad, the late fade at Sacramento (against, btw, a team proving to be far better than expected, still. ..should have closed that one out). No time to add to that list now.
