A thrilling back-and-forth game between the Indiana Pacers and Boston Celtics went down to the wire, clinched on a Victor Oladipo game winning three with three seconds remaining. The Pacers fell behind by four with 37 seconds left behind back-to-back Kyrie Irving threes, but Indiana showed no quit, getting key stops and five straight to win for Oladipo.
Oladipo led with 24 points and 12 rebounds, scoring 10 in the fourth. In addition, Oladipo’s free throw shooting continued to trend positively, with him going 8-8, including two clutch shots that set up his game winner.
Tyreke Evans led an important night for the bench, scoring 17, including 10 to close the third and open the fourth to put Indiana in the lead. Domantas Sabonis scored 12 with nine rebounds and five assists while T.J. Leaf had his best game of the year, putting in seven. Also in double figures, Bojan Bogdanovic scored 16 points and Myles Turner had 12.
The Pacers are now 7-3 and will host the Houston Rockets on Monday.
