Celtics vs. Pacers: Game thread, lineups, TV info and more

The Pacers try to win their third consecutive game when they host the Celtics on Saturday night.

NBA: Indiana Pacers at Boston Celtics Greg M. Cooper-USA TODAY Sports

The Pacers host the Boston Celtics for the first of four meetings between the two teams this season.

Currently, the Celtics sit in third place in the East, just a half game ahead of the fourth place Pacers. While Indiana has taken care of business against teams with inferior records, they have struggled against stronger teams, most notably in double-digit losses to Milwaukee and Portland.

After not playing great in their last two games on the road but still finding a way to make winning plays down the stretch, the Pacers have a chance to build on the confidence from those road wins a gather an early-season signature win against former Butler coach, Brad Stevens and crew.

This game also marks the return of Brownsburg/Butler legend Gordon Hayward to the Fieldhouse playing for the first time as a Celtic. The Pacers remain healthy to begin their three-game homestand while the C’s have starter Jaylen Brown listed as questionable after missing the team’s last game. Earlier today, however, Brown reportedly said he would be ready to play against the Pacers.
